Note from Audra: I’m soooo glad the paving of one side has been completed enough to use for traffic. I didn’t realize how often I use that road until it became such a mess!
From Dunwoody City Councilman Terry Nall’s latest update:
Last week, crews began paving the “Goodyear” side of Dunwoody Village Parkway. Once the paving on that side is completed, travel lanes will shift to it in order to allow the construction crews to shift their work to the “Ace Hardware” side. Please be alert to this traffic shift, as it could occur at any time.
As a reminder, the timing of traffic signals at either end of DVP have been converted to fixed-time cycles until the construction is completed. Once the project is completed, the signals will be re-set to operate on traffic detector sensors. Project completion is now anticipated for sometime in October.
