Dunwoody, GA – February 28, 2022– The City of Dunwoody invites those who live and work in Dunwoody to the first Open House for Edge City 2.0, a community-wide visioning project that will focus on the future of Dunwoody’s Perimeter Center. The Open House is a drop-in event on March 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the lobby of 400 Terraces North, located at 400 Perimeter Center Terrace (parking available off Ashford Dunwoody Road).
Edge City is a joint effort between the City of Dunwoody and the Perimeter Community Improvement District (CID), and it’s being carried out in close coordination with a consultant team led by Pond & Company. You can learn more about the project here: www.dunwoodyedge.com
“Public engagement is a critical part of this planning process,” said Dunwoody Economic Development Director Michael Starling. “We want everyone to play a role in creating a blueprint to manage and guide growth in Perimeter Center.”
The project involves evaluating and understanding Perimeter Center’s current land use, development patterns, transportation network, surrounding cultural and natural resources, demographics, economics, and the needs and wishes of the community. At the end of researching and developing multiple visions for the future of the Perimeter Market, Pond & Company will provide the City and its partners with an implementable roadmap for the next 20 years.
