Hopefully, you weren’t among those that missed it… But on Tuesday, the Dunwoody Varsity Volleyball Team — cheered on by a gym full of jubilant parents, friends, teachers and students – advanced to the Elite 8 in the State Volleyball Tournament after defeating Hiram High School in three consecutive sets (25-18, 25-18, 25-16).
That means Dunwoody (now seeded 3rd in Elite 8) get to do it again this Saturday in the quarter final match against the Apalachee Wildcats of Barrow County.
So come out to cheer on the Wildcats — Dunwoody’s that is! — at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Dunwoody High School.
And fans, please wear your red to help us ‘Red-Out’ the Dunwoody gym to show your Wildcats pride!
