Having been a part of the DeKalb School System for over 20 years, as a student and a parent, seeing this school system brought back to health, academically and financially, is my utmost desire. I believe Dr. Green to be sincere in his efforts to bring the needed change to DCSS. His initial decisions and HR moves are being well received by most. However, risking the districts financial well being on the Doraville Tax Allocation District will also risk the school systems attempt to return to its once proud academic reputation.
