The Dunwoody Police Department presented its 2014 achievement awards for officers and employees that made an impact throughout the year. It is important to recognize excellence among the staff. The police department recognized eight individuals for their achievements during the 2014 calendar year. They were recognized for Officer of the Year, Employee of the Year, Marksman of the Year, Rising Star Award, Top Cop, Officer of the Quarter and Chief’s Award.
They were as follows:
Officer of the Year, Officer of Fourth Quarter: Detective Robert Barrett
Employee of the Year: Kristin Adkins
Marksman of the Year: Officer Michael Cheek
Top Cop Award: Sergeant Patrick Krieg
Officer of the First Quarter: Officer Danny Tedesco
Officer of the Second Quarter: Detective Sean Lenahan
Officer of the Third Quarter, Rising Star Award: Officer Christopher Patrick
Chief’s Award: Sergeant Jason Dove
