Dunwoody’s Tim Redovian Memorial Fund has awarded its 2013 scholarships. Following auditions in May, 10 metro Atlanta area winners, including two from Dunwoody, were named. Each will receive funding to attend summer training in their chosen area of the performing arts.
The Tim Redovian Memorial Fund was established in memory of Tim Redovian, a gifted young performer from Dunwoody who lost his life in 1996 to a rare respiratory illness. The foundation provides funding and scholarship awards to talented high school performing arts students, individually or through organizations, who want to develop to their full potential through continued studies. To date, more than $265,000 has been awarded to deserving young performers.
