March 23rd at 8pm
Join the Dunwoody Nature Center (5343 Roberts Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338) this spring for its popular Friday Night Hikes! Gather by the old fireplace in the meadow for a leisurely, family-oriented hike that follows the trails around the wetlands and back forests of Dunwoody Park.
Be sure to bring a flashlight as the Nature Center educators will guide groups through the hike, offering a chance to hear the nighttime sounds of owls, bats, and other nocturnal creatures as well as the gentle flow of Wildcat Creek. After the hike groups will gather once again around the fire place to enjoy hot chocolate and a fire.
The evening is FREE for the entire family but please note that strollers are not recommended along the mulched trails.
Dates for hikes: March 23rd and April 20th at 8:00 p.m.
For more information go to ‘Friday Night Hikes‘ Event on the event calendar. To ensure that we have enough staff (and hot chocolate!) for all our hikers, please email holly@dunwoodynature.org or call 770.394.3322 to let us know that you are coming.
