Back in July I told y’all about a Home grown tomato contest…..
Well, I found out this week that a local Dunwoody man won 2nd place!
Julian Vandenberghe was the second place winner and won the $250.00 gift card in the Homegrown Tomato Contest last weekend. His tomato was an Organic Cherokee Purple. He and his wife Beth (an Aha! Subscriber) are long time Dunwoody residents and proud to have grown this tomato in their backyard garden!
The tomatoes were judged entirely on flavor…not appearance. Congrats to Julian!
