Dunwoody Kids Make 100 Sandwiches for Those in Need in Honor of 100th Day of School

In honor of the 100th day of school, 15 Dunwoody children gathered on a Saturday to make 100 turkey, ham and cheese sandwiches on whole wheat bread for the Open Door Community, an Atlanta-based 501 c(3) organization serving and feeding 400 homeless people each day. The children who participated in this volunteer community service activity included Siler Corbett, Jabea Joe, Reilly Fuller, Parker Mothershed and Anna Young (Chesnut Charter kindergarten); Emily Cohen, Jemeya Joe, Leah Liss, Alex Miranda and Joshua Young (Chesnut Charter first grade); Jonah Liss and Audrey Mothershed (Chesnut Charter third grade); Jason Chin (Chesnut Charter Pre-K); Abby Cohen (The Weinstein Preschool); and Delaney Hixon (Kingswood Pre-K).
