DUNWOODY, Ga. — Rachel Ziffer is a thriving third-grader, despite a rare medical diagnosis that doesn’t get much attention or funding for research.
Rachel and her parents are working to spread the word about her medical journey as part of International PHACE Syndrome Awareness Week from March 22 to 29.
“It’s very rare and nothing to get freaked out about if you have it,” Rachel said.
