The varsity football team traveled to Wesleyan last Thursday for their preseason opener. The Wildcats were victorious winning 17-7. However, the score did not tell the story. Dunwoody dominated the game with the offense keeping the ball for 37 of 48 minutes and the defense got off the field quickly. Vincent El Bader had 2 huge interceptions to seal the win. Patrick Stephens and Cameron Irastorza both had Touchdowns and Christian Lee kicked a 37-yard field goal.
Next up for your Wildcats is on next Thursday at 4:30 in the Corky Kell Classic. The game will be played at West Forsyth High School and will be televised and on the radio. We need a HUGE student section to represent Dunwoody well. There are QR codes around the school with the link to buy tickets!
