Representing Dunwoody Fencing Club at the 2022 Georgia Divisional Qualifiers, Ryan Scharf earned the gold medal in the Division II mens epee event and Jeffrey Berkowitz earned the silver medal in the Division III mens epee event. Both fencers have qualified to represent Georgia at the 2022 National Championships which will be held in Minneapolis in July.
In addition, Ryan’s dad, David Scharf, qualified for Nationals in the veteran mens epee event.
All three fencers compete under the direction of Coach Kathy Vail
