Quick – when you think about an accountant, what qualities come to mind? Detailed-oriented? Organized? Accurate? A problem-solver? Number cruncher? Maybe a little OCD? Sure!
How about … “Funny”?
Hmm … funny accountants? Really? Where does one find such a creature?
Well, since 2006, Dunwoody’s own Accountants One recruiting firm has held the “Search for the South’s Funniest Accountant”, a friendly comedy competition among financial professionals that benefits Junior Achievement. It’s both fun – and funny!
The “Search” was created to dispel the myth that accountants are humorless number-crunching shoe gazers. Over the years, it’s grown into a veritable Atlanta institution. In fact, it’s gotten so popular that, this year, for the first time, it’s being held at the Coca-Cola Roxy – the biggest show in its history.
Looking for a fun team-building event? The Search is it. Music, food, drinks, a wacky photo booth, goofy glasses – your team will love it.
Also, please consider becoming a corporate sponsor. To date, the Search has raised more than a half million dollars for Junior Achievement, an organization with a mission to prepare and inspire young people to succeed in a global economy.
See you at the event – bring your team and your chuckles!
