The 2014-15 DSB Diablos 14U Gold baseball team coached by Tom Bass and Charles Coke took second place in the State Championship Major/Open NIT tournament held the weekend of June 5-7, 2015. The team posted an impressive 5-2 record over three days of play in the double-elimination tournament held in McDonough, Georgia. Going into the championship game, the Diablos had hammered out two wins by the run rule and ceded just one game in a tight 6-5 contest.
