Second Annual Event Invites Locals & Visitors to Experience Destination’s Dining Scene, Supporting Local Restaurants and Exploring New Spots
Dunwoody, Ga. – (June 7, 2021) – Discover Dunwoody, the destination marketing organization behind the thriving ‘second city’ hot spot just 10 miles north of Atlanta, today announced this June will mark its second annual ‘Restaurant Revamp Month.’ Last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Discover Dunwoody turned its well-known Restaurant Week into a month-long event to help drive awareness and business for local restaurants. After a successful program in 2020, the DMO is excited to bring back the month-long event this June, allowing locals and visitors to visit a variety of spots over a longer period.
“Our restaurants are a vital part of our community and they give so much to our residents and visitors, serving as welcoming gathering spots, providing delicious meals and really creating a space to unwind at the end of the day,” said Discover Dunwoody Interim Executive Director Steven Schumacher. “Throughout the past year, our restaurants have adapted to continue serving our residents even amidst the toughest challenges, and it is time to celebrate them once again for all they have done for our community.”
Dunwoody Restaurant Revamp Month will take place June 1-30, giving locals and visitors ample time to explore the wide range of dining options across the destination. There are endless meals and treats to enjoy, whether foodies are looking to relax with a glass of wine and charcuterie at Vino Venue, enjoy homemade gelato at Novo Cucina or chow down on one of Atlanta’s favorite burgers at NFA Burger. Those who participate through dining in or carrying out are also encouraged to share their delicious dishes on social media using #DunwoodyRestaurantRevamp.
“From delicious Italian cuisine to classic burgers and premium steak dinners, there are so many options for people to explore during Restaurant Revamp Month as they dine around town and show their love to these establishments,” said Schumacher.
