Though DISCIPLE Bible Study originated in the United Methodist Church, it is now found in 34 different denominations. The study is designed to be transformational as well as informative. Dunwoody United Methodist Church will offer all four courses this fall beginning in September as follows:
DISCIPLE I – gateway study to DISCIPLE III, III and IV courses. An overview of the Old and new Testaments
DISCIPLE II – study of genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts
DISCIPLE III – study of the prophets from the old Testament and Paul’s letters in the New Testament
DISCIPLE IV – study of Ruth, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations and Daniel from the Old Testament, as well as the Gospel of John, the letters of John, James and Jude and Revelation.
DISCIPLE II, III and IV can be taken in any order after DISCIPLE !. Courses are 32 – 34 weeks in length and follow a daily study plan contained in the workbook. DISCIPLE I Fast Track – Sunday School hour, beginning Sept 7, 8:45 – 10:00 a.m.
DISCIPLE II – Sundays, beginning Sept 7, 4 – 6 p.m.
DISCIPLE II – Mondays, beginning Sept 8, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
DISCIPLE III – Wednesdays, beginning Sept 10, 7:05 – 9:00 p.m.
DISCIPLE IV – Thursdays, beginning Sept 4, 7 – 9 p.m.
