Susan G. Rifkin, DDS, is a dentistry practitioner specializing in cosmetic dentistry. She’s also the founder of Rifkin Dental Group in Atlanta, Georgia, and has practiced dentistry for over 35 years.
Dr. Rifkin graduated in 1982 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. In 2012, she completed a course in implant dentistry run by Advanced Dental Implant Studies.
Dr. Rifkin is an engaged member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of Osseointegration, Advanced Dental Implant Studies, and the Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Rifkin also trained in the Maxi Implant Course, a subsidiary of the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. She then continued her education with Advanced Dental Implant Studies, a think-tank of advanced implantologists from all over the country.
She serves on the board of the International Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. She is a board member and past-president of the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Zachary Rifkin, DDS, is a dental practitioner specializing in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. In 2018, he joined the family business to become part of the team at the Rifkin Dental Group in Atlanta, Georgia. He strives to revolutionize cosmetic and restorative dental care and places a strong focus on implant replacement systems.
Dr. Rifkin graduated in 2016 from dental school at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed a general practice residency in 2017 at Bellevue Hospital Center (now NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue) in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. He trained in the Maxi Implant Course, a subsidiary of the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. He then continued his education with Advanced Dental Implant Studies, a think-tank of advanced implantologists from all over the country. He has completed his credentialing and is now an Associate Fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
While in Buffalo, Dr. Rifkin worked with the university’s director of implant dentistry, Sebastiano Andreana, DDS, on research into the antimicrobial effects of a root canal cleanser in treating contaminated implants. The findings of their work were published by the American Association for Dental Research in the 2015 Journal of Dental Research.
Dr. Rifkin is also trained in the treatment and maintenance of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) using oral sleep appliances. In 2020, he went on to achieve Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM). He is currently treating patients in his office for OSA and other sleep disturbances.
