Agent and songwriter Albert Peterson finds himself in trouble when rock and roll superstar Conrad Birdie is drafted into the Army. Albert’s secretary and sweetheart Rosie Alverez, comes up with a last ditch publicity stunt to have Conrad Birdie record and perform a song “One Last Kiss” before he is sent overseas. They plan to have Birdie sing the new song and give one lucky girl from his fan club, Kim MacAfee, a real “last kiss” on the Ed Sullivan Show before being shipped out to the Army. Amidst hijinks and jealousy, this comedy proves that everything really is Rosy!
