Girls’ 1st Golf Match Victory!
The Girl’s golf team led by Amelia Mutert, Cora Webster, Lauren Garber, and Madeline Vicine have their first victory last week over Lakeside on a 9 hole match at Dunwoody Country Club. Well done, ladies!
Congratulations to the varsity boys and girls tennis teams on their region win against South Cobb High School! Both teams had a clean 5-0 sweep and demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship!
Lacrosse Update
Varsity Boys Lacrosse team took on Chamblee on Wed 3/8 and came away with a 14-2 win. Scoring was led by Jack Pankey with 5 goals. The defense was spectacular and was led by Nico Sciullo. Nico was outstanding. He gave it all for his team and left a little piece of himself on the turf!
The Boys lacrosse team continued its win streak defeating North Springs 19-1 in a region contest on Mon 3/6. Zack Arnone led the way with 3 goals. The Wildcats are now 8-0 and 2-0 in region play.
Girls’ Varsity won on the road against Duluth 16-3 on Mon 3/6. The teams defense led by Ryan Boaz shut them down. Goalie Sophia Parker saving 7 shots! On attack Hayden Wood and Eydie Berrong each scoring 4. Eydie & Emily Wallace each had 4 assists.
Also, the JV Girls Lax team beat the Duluth Wildcats on the road 14-0 on Mond 3/6. Mikayla Crawley stood out for her sportswomanship and the other team awarded her an “Empower Her” t-shirt! Great Job playing as a team and working together!
Soccer Update
The Varsity Boys Soccer defeated Campbell on Friday 3/3 with a score of 3-1. Goals were scored by Shama Shasha, Will Lamb, and Xavier Krehnbrink. Player of the Match was Captain Max Porter as he came up with a huge save that changed the momentum of the game.
The JV Boys Soccer continued their unbeaten run as the defeated Riverwood on Mon 3/6 with a 3-1 win. Daniel Aguilar, Jordi Orellana, and Emerson Mitchell each scored goals. Luis Medellin and Juan Arenas each had an assist.
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer team who beat Riverwood in a big region match up 3-1 last Tue night in Wildcat Valley. Izzy Henderson scored the 1st goal from an assist from Lucy Wilburn and Ella Ryan scored two 2nd half goals assisted by Shelby Verlander and Izzy Henderson.
