DHS Opens The Wildcat Writing Center

Dunwoody High School is happy to announce the opening of the Wildcat Writing Center, a place where Dunwoody High School students may go during lunch to receive help with their writing assignments. Three days a week (MWF), students may sign up for individualized writing tutorials. Two days a week (T, Th), the center will offer “Lunch and Learn” sessions focusing on specialized writing topics, like the college application essay and other academic writing assignments. The Wildcat Writing Center will be working closely with DHS English teachers to improve writing skills across the high school curriculum and to increase enthusiasm and excitement about writing in general.  Dunwoody English teacher, Heather Carter, will be leading this effort.
