Congratulations to the Dunwoody High School Golf Team!!
The team coach is Doug Frielander and players are Seniors: Peter Trask, Marcus Byrd, Corey Sullivan, Brox Labus and Graham Owings, Junior: Tim Trembath, Sophmores: Davis Brainard, Will Benston, Ballard Ackaway, Freshmen: Cole Pickering, Elijah Dwoskin and Nick Trembath.
They won the Dekalb County tournament for the 7th year in a row! The tournament was held on April 13 at the Sugar Creek Golf course. The Wildcats won with a team score of 300, setting a new county record. The old record was a score of 301 set in 2013 (by the DHS Golf Team). Peter Trask won the low medalist honor. He tied for first place with a score of 73, then won the 2 hole playoff with a birdie. Davis Brainard came in third place with a score of 74. Corey Sullivan came in 4th place with a score of 75, and Tim Trembath came in 6th place with a score of 78.
The team will play next in the Region tournament at Browns Mill Golf Course on Monday, April 20
