The Dunwoody High School Academy of Finance spent three days in NYC this week. A total of 137 seniors navigated the subway, watched Broadway shows, visited Central Park, Little Italy, Times Square, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Top of the Rock, and met with executives from NBC Universal, Goldman Sachs, the NBA, Linked In, Amazon, Google, and more. Led by Academy founder Steve Fortenberry and Academy teacher D.R. Keen, with support from 14 other coaches and teacher chaperones, including Principal Tom Bass, the program is one-of-a-kind.
