DeKalb Moved Graduation Dates to AFTER the Official School Year Ends

For those of you who aren’t aware, DeKalb County has moved the Class of 2019 graduation dates to the week AFTER Memorial Day and didn’t let Seniors and their families know until this week. This change is for all DeKalb schools, not just Dunwoody High. Vacations have been planned, camps have been paid for, graduation trips are scheduled, and teachers and administrators won’t even be working that week. It’s a shame to me that DeKalb would even consider doing this to these hardworking seniors. Many believe we should move the ceremonies back closer to each school during the last week of school!
