Claire Shelton represented Dunwoody High at the GHSA 6A Cross Country State Championship. She went out at a strong pace but at the halfway point, was 50 meters behind the leader. With a huge surge over the next mile, Claire managed to close the gap and put herself in position to win it all. It came down to the wire, and Claire secured a 2nd place finish by running a tactical courageous race! Congrats to Claire for being the State runner up as a Junior!
