Distillery of Modern Art is welcoming Justin Campbell, Director of Studio Operations at Gray Television, and Mayra Garcia, Studio Operations Manager at Third Rail Studios, to discuss the rise of television and film production in Georgia on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy a lively discussion during Cocktails & Conversation: The Future of Y’Allywood while sipping on signature cocktails made from in-house spirits. The event will cover a range of topics from the diversity of aesthetic locations to shoot in Georgia to incentives, available resources and the current infrastructure that continues to create local jobs and opportunities for the industry. Campbell will also go into detail about Assembly Studios, a new state-of-the-art facility being developed in Atlanta by Gray Television and NBC/Universal that will close to 4000 permanent jobs. Attendees are also encouraged to walk through the impressive space and view works from local artists Craig Dongoski and Armando Chacon.
