My friends at Chastain Park Amphitheatre have given us 4 tickets to Sunday’s Rick Springfield Concert!

I so wish I were able to go.  I have loved him for years….way back to when he was Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital.  I used to wish I were Jesse’s Girl!

  2. My 3 high school friends and I wanted to go to this concert soooo badly (yep, we were huge fans, lol), but price got in the way. I would LOVE to be able to take my friends to see Rick Springfield!

  26. In addition to Rick Springfield it appears The Romantics and Night Ranger will be playing as well. Three great 80s bands together at Chastain! My wife and I just celebrated 25 years of marriage but due to other pressing family and work obligations (looking after one of our parents in another state who is in assisted living and a foreign assignment for me) we haven’t been able to get out for a proper celebration of that milestone. We are finally together in the same city and this would be a great way to make up for being apart then. We would probably take our two boys (in their 20s) to show them what “real” music was like back then. And if we win the tickets we promise not to hold up our phones recording all the best tracks – one of my pet peeves of going to concerts these days. Where do these videos end up any way?

I owe her a big thank you for taking care of my daughter while I was in the hospital with my son this past weekend.
