Goodreads is an app/site that helps me keep track of all the books I’ve read. Right now it tells me that I’ve read 248 books, want to read 116, and am currently reading 7. I’m really only reading one book right now so guess I better check my settings.
To me, there’s nothing better than finding the perfect book so I’m always on the lookout for books to add to my “want to read” list. … Read More »

Dick reminded me this week that I haven’t read one of the books he recommended to me and that he had another suggestion. I’m so far behind on my reading! So I asked him if I could use his two suggestions as the “books of the week”. He agreed and and then said “I think people will like them.” … Read More »
I love movies and superheroes. So, during Thanksgiving week I went to see Justice League one night and Thor Ragnarok the next. What a fabulous treat!
Which did I like better? Both were good. However, 2+ hours of looking at Thor will always win. Always. Plus, I love finding movies that I can watch with my teenage boys without steamy sex scenes to embarrass us all.… Read More »
I hesitate to admit this but I’m currently in the Big Apple and it is my 4th time in the last 12 months. I typically save my travel dollars to see new sights but obviously I just can’t get enough of NYC. I went with the DHS Academy of Finance, then on a business trip with my hubby, then my high school graduate wanted to return last summer for his graduation trip and now…I’m with my mom and Aunt who “needed” someone to guide them. … Read More »

Last night my phone started autocorrecting every time I typed an “I” . The auto correct changed it to an “A” with a symbol. Not only was this making me angry but I was perplexed as to why in the world this would be happening. Well, apparently Apple has a bug.
