Books of the Week: Billy Graham’s Best Sellers

My grandmother loved Billy and Ruth Graham.  She read all of their books and shared several with me.  She quoted both of them often.    I’m sure Grandmother was one of the millions who greeted him as he entered the pearly gates this week.  It wouldn’t make sense for my book of the week choice to be written by anyone else. … Read More »

Book of the Week – Well Actually it isn’t a book this time – The Crown on Netflix

I’m experiencing reader’s block.  I can’t make myself read but instead have been binge watching The Crown on Netflix.

So this week my Book of the Week is instead…the Netflix Binge of the Week!  Sorry book lovers…I’m cheating on you. Watch both seasons of The Crown on Netflix.  I’m ready to go visit London now and have been spending a ton of time on Google since finishing the last episode searching for pictures of the real people featured in The Crown and who is going to star in next season and what is the current line of people who are heirs to the British Crown (Prince Charles then Prince William, then Prince George).   I love history…and binge worthy shows!… Read More »

Books of the Week: The Top 10 of 2017

Goodreads is an app/site that helps me keep track of all the books I’ve read.  Right now it tells me that I’ve read 248 books, want to read 116, and am currently reading 7.   I’m really only reading one book right now so guess I better check my settings.

To me, there’s nothing better than finding the perfect book so I’m always on the lookout for books to add to my “want to read” list. … Read More »
