I watch and/or listen to church services online and via podcasts all the time. In fact, when visiting my girlfriend, Leigh, last weekend we decided we wanted to have double “pajama church”. We each picked a service and watched both together! I chose Levi Lusko’s Fresh Life Church and she chose Ron Carpenter of Redemption Church.… Read More »
Today I was lucky enough to have lunch with the leasing agent for Shoppes of Dunwoody at Taqueria Los Hermanos. The waitstaff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was simply delicious…delicioso. I believe this is the fifth location for this Mexican family who’s great grandmother supplied most of the amazing authentic recipes. … Read More »
The Marketing Manager from LifeHope Labs in Sandy Springs, Emily Brook, reached out to me in December and I finally made time to go visit them last week. Their CEO and I have a mutual friend and they piqued my curiosity when he told me he came out of retirement to get involved with LifeHope. … Read More »
My husband and I bought our home from the original owners in 2002. The Orgerons loved Halloween. Interestingly enough, they kept a tally of the number of trick-or-treaters that came to the front door each Halloween since 1984. We kept up the tradition of counting as accurately as we can with the help of all our Halloween guests each year.… Read More »

Did you know you aren’t supposed to park within 30 feet of a stop sign? I learned this (among other things) Wednesday night at a safety/traffic/parking meeting that the Dunwoody Police held with my neighborhood. When I was walking my dog this morning I noticed one of my favorite teenagers parked well within 30 feet of a very hectic stop sign in my neighborhood.… Read More »
Vanderlyn Elementary lost one of the most beautiful trees I’ve ever seen on Tuesday night. Lightning basically tore it in half. My husband often remarked as we walked under it: “This is the prettiest tree in Dunwoody”. He called me with grief in his voice on his way to work on Wednesday telling me to check out Vanderlyn’s tree. … Read More »

Reese Witherspoon chose it for her book club last July and I have really liked the few “Reese Picks” that I’ve read! … Read More »
