Brookhaven Bucks Baseball Season Off to Hot Start

The Sunbelt Baseball League (SBL) season is well underway and the Brookhaven Bucks (5-3) are currently tied for first place with the Norcross Astros in the 6-team league.

The Bucks offense has been the best in the collegiate summer wooden-bat league, leading the SBL in several offensive categories, including hits, doubles and batting average. Zach Williams, a sophomore from College of Charleston, leads the team with a .400 average.… Read More »

Brookhaven Mayor John Ernst will host a town hall meeting Thursday, June 21, from 6 to 7 p.m. at City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road in Brookhaven.

2013 DHS Grad In Need

Shani Tsfoni graduated from DHS in 2013, went on to graduate from SCAD, and then moved to NYC to follow her artistic dreams. She recently had a traumatic accident – she was hit by a car while she was on a run in NYC.
