Due to safety concerns around COVID-19, the afternoon celebration leading to the holiday lighting of Dunwoody Village has been suspended.

Dunwoody Methodist NOT selling Christmas Trees this season

Allen Whittaker, the youth minister at DUMC informed me this week that they are not doing the Christmas Tree Lot this year at DUMC.

They typically have to place the order for trees in late July/early August. With so much uncertainty (especially this summer) with COVID, they didn’t comfortable moving forward with an order.

Some highlights: *Enrollment Dunwoody cluster elementary schools has seen a 14% drop in enrollment this year. Enrollment is 614 students lower in 2020 (3,652) than it was in 2019 (4,266). *Middle school in the Dunwoody cluster has seen a 5% drop in enrollment this year.… Read More »
