Gala Event is CAC’s Largest Annual Fundraiser
Support your neighbors in need while enjoying a great evening out! You are invited to the Community Assistance Center’s 16th Annual Vintage Affair benefit on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church in Sandy Springs. This year’s theme is the Golden Age of Hollywood!
Walk the red carpet! Enjoy roaring 20’s and old Hollywood music, and get your photo taken with a classic car. Come dressed as your favorite vintage Hollywood actors, in your best vintage Hollywood style or cocktail attire.
Vintage Affair features food from the finest local restaurants, wine tasting, live and silent auction fun and a raffle. Guests will sample dishes from Brooklyn Café, Under the Cork Tree, Food 101, Seasons 52, Chef Rob’s, Kaiser’s, Caly Road Creamery, Southern Bistro, Taziki’s, Café Vendome, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, Chen Services and more. Wine tastings provided by Georgia Crown.
The live and silent auctions will offer more than 100 items including vacation get-aways, art, jewelry, restaurant gift cards, unique gift baskets and more.
This year’s raffle prize is winner’s choice of three Hollywood themed vacations, up to a $5,000 value! Choose between Mackinac Island, MI, Los Angeles/Hollywood experience or a luxury train ride on the Orient Express in Europe. The drawing will be held at the Vintage Affair and winners need not be present.
Vintage Affair is CAC’s largest annual fundraiser raising more than $100,000 a year to support CAC assistance programs. Has served more than 20,000 families since its founding 30 years ago and is the primary agency preventing homelessness and hunger in the Dunwoody and Sandy Springs communities. CAC’s services include a food pantry, thrift store for free clothing, emergency financial assistance and adult education classes, including ESOL/English, personal financial management and computer workshops.
