Brookleigh Market 
welcomed another new resident this month – gourmet food shop Brookhaven Provisions had its “soft” opening and will host a grand opening later this month. A creation of the same folks behind Cafe at Pharr and Baci, the restaurant features ample sit-down eating as well as a great supply of takeaway items.
Walk in and the first thing you spy are some ready-to-go gift items, such as jams and Merry cheese crisps. The takeaway coolers include a variety of sandwiches and salads, including the “DeKobb.” Ha! You’ll find your favorite chicken salad and other items from Cafe at Pharr, as well as numerous sandwiches from The Hungry Peach. All items run $8-$10. Wine and beer are also on the menu, with two self-pour wine stations on the way.
Hours of operation currently are 10 am to 7 pm but they plan to have extended hours on Thursdays and weekends after the grand opening. Find Brookhaven Provisions at 3589 Durden Drive.
