The Brookhaven Police Department is participating in a pushup challenge to raise awareness for fallen veterans.
In a Facebook post, the department says it’s documented that every day, approximately 22 veterans commit suicide.
“Any positive number in this statistic is too much,” the department says.
The challenge is to complete 22 pushups a day for 22 days.
The department challenged Sandy Springs police and the Dunwoody and Chamblee police departments.
