Brookhaven Councilmembers voted unanimously Tuesday, April 25th, 2017, to approve the Ashford Dunwoody Rd. Corridor Study, a study intended “to develop a general consensus for long-range options to improve traffic operations, safety, and multimodal connectivity for the Ashford Dunwoody Corridor.”
Mayor John Ernst read a statement from Councilmember Linley Jones as she could not attend Tuesday’s meeting due to illness. “I believe that the result is a plan for Ashford Dunwoody Rd. that will improve traffic in the corridor and provide greater safety for pedestrians, bikers and cars,” Jones said in her statement. “It will remain a priority of the City to inform and work with property owners as the projects are implemented.” Continue reading at The Brookhaven Post
