The new dog parks at Brook Run opened for visitors at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd.
In addition to the renovated larger park, there is now a separate off-leash area for smaller dogs (under 25 lbs.).
PLEASE BE AWARE that all the renovations are not complete. BRDPA and the city’s Parks Dept. agreed to allow visitors and their dogs into the park once the safety of the dogs was ensured. Other work, much of it cosmetic, will continue over the weeks to come.
Your patience and cooperation while work continues will be helpful and appreciated. Some tasks may require closing one or both parks, but such closings will occur on weekdays and will typically allow visitors to return in the late afternoon.
