I’m in the midst of The Girls: A Novel. 48% finished to be exact. I’ll write a full review when I am done but am curious if anyone has heard of this book or read it? Cults…something that freaked me out as a child. I can remember hearing on the news about J. Paul Getty III being kidnapped and having his ear cut off. After accidentally learning about this on the nightly news I (to this day) must sleep with my ears covered up with the sheet. It started when I was 8 years old. I confused him with Patty Hearst and always thought it was her who had her ear severed.
Back to the book…I’m fascinated with this story of The Girls…..and the cult….and the leader….I’ll let you know how it turns out.
