Bistro Off Broad Hosts “Celebration of Summer”

Wine connoisseurs are invited to sip and celebrate the summer season at Bistro Off Broad’s “Celebration of Summer” dinner on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Beginning at 6 p.m., the five-course, wine-infused evening will be guided by guest host and Master Sommelier Michael McNeill who is also a two-time recipient of the “Best Sommelier in America” award. Featuring wine pairings from the Stoller Family Estate of Oregon, guests are invited to indulge in Executive Chef Alex Friedman’s five-course dinner featuring Yellow Fin Tartare with picked golden beets, bronze fennel fronds, smoked trout caviar, and reaper oil; Roasted Georgia Peach Gazpacho with candied pecans, purple basil and honey yogurt; Smoked Duck Breast Caesar Salad with cherry wood smoked, fried Brussel sprouts, red romaine, drizzled with Banyuls Caesar dressing and pecorino; charcoal grilled Border Springs Lamb with goat cheese potatoes, roasted vegetables, and pistachio and cherry marmalade; and a seasonal summer dessert created by Pastry Chef Darla Smith.
