The Dunwoody High School Boys Lacrosse team is in the middle of their largest fundraiser of the year. We are giving away a Big Green Egg ($1000 value) to one lucky winner!
Tickets to enter are only $20 each. Would you consider purchasing one (or more J) tickets to support this worthy cause? Tickets will be sold for the next two weeks, with the drawing to be held on Monday, December 12 at Village Burger @ 7:00.
Lacrosse is a new sport being offered at Dunwoody High School this year, and we are in the process of assembling a great team and a crew of community coaches.
As a startup team with no financial support from DeKalb County Schools, we are responsible for raising all of our capital and operating funds. Just to equip the team with uniforms, gloves and non-concussive helmets will require between $12,000 – $15,000. Expenses for coaches, field maintenance and other equipment will likely match that amount.
Each family is making significant contributions in the way of dues to offset these costs, but we need support from the community as well.
