Dunwoody Local and Cancer Survivor Brings Popular Garment Decorating Business and Sustainability to Community

Dunwoody, GA – Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More®, a locally-owned, high-technology garment decorating retail store where customers have the freedom to design their own apparel, announced it will open a new location at 1402 B. Dunwoody Village Parkway on January 8, 2019.

Big Frog of Dunwoody will be owned and operated by local resident Tracey Carothers. After 20 years in the tech industry as an executive, Carothers decided it to make a drastic career change and saw a great opportunity through joining Big Frog – a fun, yet rewarding business venture. She plans to use her location to promote sustainability through utilizing green technology. The new business venture also brings Carothers, a cancer survivor who is navigating life with a chronic illness, the ability be a more active member of the Dunwoody community at her own pace.

“I am beyond excited for this new venture to bring Big Frog to our community. Big Frog’s team has been immensely supportive and invested, yet appropriately hands-off, a great balance for someone like me making a career change,” said Carothers. “My experiences with my health taught me to live in the moment and keep moving forward despite challenges faced. This new venture will allow me the chance to do ‘happy work’ by providing my community with the ability to create their own, unique apparel.”

The brand’s Direct to Garment (DTG) printing bonds the dye to the fabric’s molecules allowing products to be washed in both hot and cold water and with color-safe bleaching without risking damage, crack or peeling to the image.
