Note from Audra: Hubby and I were given media tickets so we traveled the 23 miles to Lawrenceville to see Beautiful last Sunday. We saw it on Broadway a few years ago and simply LOVED it. We see shows often at the Fox but never had been to the Aurora Theatre. The Fox is about 5 miles closer to us than Aurora but none of the downtown traffic. What a treat! Parking was free and a BREEZE. The the theater is situated in beautifully quant downtown Lawrenceville surrounded by several restaurants. We walked across the street for dinner after the matinee and have become enthralled with downtown Lawrenceville. I don’t believe there is a bad seat in the entire beautifully designed theater and the prices are much more reasonable than what I’ve paid for Fox tix.
You should read this article about the star of the show (Bethany Irby) …she’s AMAZING.
