BASKETBALL FANATICS
It is that time of the year again…. the sound of the basketballs hitting the hardwood floor, fans cheering for their favorite basketball player, the competition that makes some players rise to the top and some lower their head in disappointment. The All Saints Basketball Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw Competition.

TIME : 10am – 2pm
WHERE: All Saints Gym
FREE GIVE AWAYS AND SNACKS AND DRINKS PROVIDED
All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. Age eligibility is determined by the age of the contestant as of January 1.
RULES
- 15 free throws. 10 tie –breaker. Then you are done.
- Ages 9, 10, 11 (Boys& Girls Competitions) Use a women’s regulation-size basketball and shoot from a 12-foot foul line at a 10-foot-high basket. (NOTE: The normal foul line is 15 feet from the basket.
- Ages 12, 13, 14 (Girls Competitions) Use a women’s regulation-size basketball and shoot from the regulation foul line 15 feet from a 10-foot-high basket.
- Ages 12, 13, 14 (Boys Competitions) Use a men’s regulation-size basketball and shoot from the regulation foul line 15 feet from a 10-foot-high basket.
Winners will move to the District Level in late Feb TBD and then State Finals in Mar TBD.
