Band of Coders would like to have you volunteer. I’m Kelly! I run the Women in Technology Initiative at Band of Coders. We provide free coding programs that teach middle school girls how to code. Your participation in our program is essential to our success! We are offering a Free program to Peachtree Charter Middle School and are in need of volunteers for our Friday classes. We are teaching the entire 6th grade girls our program (that’s 255 girls)! We are seeking volunteers with and without technical experience. We are providing training to all volunteers regardless of technical experience. If you ever wanted to create an app here is your chance! All we ask is for you to have high energy and engage the girls! Please pass along to your contacts who may want to volunteer, speak, or become an volunteer/instructor. Please note all volunteers are subject to a Background check. Location: Peachtree Charter Middle School Dates: Every Friday starting 10/16 – 12/11 * Except 11/27 (ThanksgivingBreak) Time: 10:00am -2:55pm *Volunteers do not have to commit to every Friday.
