BackPack Stuffer
Sure it’s great to drop off school supplies for the needy at a local store, but consider taking it a step further this year by getting your children engaged in the giving in a more hands-on way. These organizations are not only looking for supplies, but for volunteers to help collate items and pack backpacks:
Children’s Restoration Network: This organization collects supplies at Kroger locations — but they need volunteers to help sort supplies next week!
Aug. 5th and 6th, 10 am – 4:30 pm at 8767 Roswell Rd in the North River Shopping Center.
Aug. 7th, 12 noon – 6:30 at My Sisters House shelter at 921 Howell Mill Rd. Atlanta.
