My ties to Karen Cannon Realtors run deep. Foodie Patty and Karen were Branches neighborhood girlfriends. I believe I actually first met Karen at Patty’s 40th birthday party. Patty would have been 54 this year. Polly Frederick is one of Karen’s top agents and has been one of my best friends since we were pregnant with our now almost twenty-year-olds! I’m so proud of both of these women and look forward to many more years of friendship!
Last fall when I decided to start interviewing clients for featured articles, Karen is the person I first contacted. Our teams brainstormed and decided we would feature an article about a brand-new home first. Newly constructed homes are hard to find in Dunwoody and therefore highly sought after by buyers in the current market. Additionally, I’m trying to improve my film and video editing skills and Karen was more than willing to get her team involved to provide me with this opportunity.
I was a little overzealous and filmed way more footage than could fit into a concise film about this beautiful new home. So, I’m saving some footage for later and will introduce you to all of her agents and their beautiful office in a separate video at a later date. Meanwhile, I’ll also have a microphone next time to improve the sound quality. In fact, I have already purchased one! I think you’ll all agree that Karen wins the most natural in front of the camera award! My husband even told me “Karen’s the star of this video.”

Karen never ceases to amaze me with her knowledge of all aspects of residential real estate. When I asked her about new construction in Dunwoody, she quickly started naming off builder partners she has worked with and the various ways in which they have obtained property to build beautiful brand-new homes. The home we toured at 4885 Cambridge was built on extra land purchased from one of the adjacent neighbors. It is a gorgeous home with 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. There’s a master on the main and yet another master upstairs. More specific details can be found on Karen’s website indicating the home is already SOLD….and as you’ll see when you watch our video….for $70K over asking with multiple offers! While working with Karen’s team on this article, I learned that every agent on the team lives in Dunwoody! They work together as a TEAM to support their clients – and sold 124 homes last year, 10%+ prior to listing and at 99% of list price! Lisa sold a home in my neighborhood for $20K over asking price and had multiple offers. Paige also mentioned she is about to have a new really cool renovated home listing in Wyntercreek with an amazing backyard and fireplace on the deck. Paige also has yet another listing next week in the Lakes of Dunwoody Crossing with a pool. Move in just in time for warmer weather and enjoy the outdoors! I’ve known Sabrina since we had kids at Vanderlyn together. In this market of multiple offers, Sabrina was able to negotiate and win a new client, who just relocated to Atlanta, a great home. Now he can walk to work at his new job as CEO of a local nonprofit organization!
