Audra got her hair cut - and it was a very "Covid Friendly" experience

Disclaimer: I hate posting photos of myself but guess I’ll have to do so for the purposes of this article so please bear with me!

I’ve been very “covid shy” since March but have been getting more and more stir crazy and therefore venturing out more and more. Plus, my hair hadn’t been cut since probably December 2019 so I had to take a chance. My bangs were driving me crazy. Admittedly, Tony Riley has been the only person who has cut my hair since I was 22 years old. My comfort level with him is likely higher than most people have with their hairdresser. Plus, I figured a slightly different haircut than normal could perhaps add some fun to my getting very boring covid-existence. My friend Kim G. knows way more about hairstyles and fashion than me and sent me two photos to share with Tony that she believed would be a good fit for me:

Tony and I sort of went with a bit of a combo of both. Keep in mind…I don’t do color…just cuts. I should add…if you are scared to get your hair done, let me assure you that Riley Salon is doing a lot to keep their customers safe. All people entering the salon must go through the back door. Upon entering, you put your belongings (purse, phone, glasses, etc. in a plastic bag and seal it). Then your temperature is taken. If you don’t have a fever, you can proceed to the restroom to wash your hands. You must wear a mask during your appointment and all of the Riley employees are also required to wear masks.

Once you have paid and checked out then you exit out the front door and voila….you are as safe as you were before you entered…and your hair looks a ton better. I have loved my shorter hair….it is so much cooler and easier to manage. I may keep it this length forever!

Tony was going to start giving away Keratin treatments again this month but is going to switch it up by giving away free balayage treatments each month instead. As soon as he sends me the details we will begin the monthly giveaways!

Okay…so here goes…before, during and after photos….The before photo is a selfie I took at home without wearing a mask. The last photo is me and Tony about a week after my haircut when I stopped by to make sure I had a photo with Tony in it!
