E. Alan Miller, P.C., is a boutique litigation insurance defense law firm in the inviting Brookhaven area of Atlanta. We are seeking an associate attorney licensed in Georgia to become an integral part of our insurance defense trial team. You’ll work closely with a lead attorney and paralegal to investigate claims, perform research for coverage opinions, and defend lawsuits through trial. You must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be adept at working directly with clients on strategy decisions. In addition, you’ll have substantial opportunities to represent insurance companies and their insureds at hearings, mediations, depositions, and all other proceedings.
Skills and Requirements:
• JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
• 1-2 years of litigation experience; personal injury and property insurance law background strongly preferred
• Active Georgia State Bar admission; admissions to all Georgia State/Federal Courts preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
