An Eye for Nature Art in the Park Exhibit and Workshop Announced

Dunwoody, GA – The Dunwoody Nature Center is proud to announce its third consecutive year of Art in the Park. This year the Nature Center is partnering with Atlanta Celebrates Photography and the Dunwoody Arts and Culture Month to host a unique exhibit of photographs taken in the park.

An Eye for Nature represents two very different perspectives on life in the Nature Center: an up-close take on our elusive feathered friends and a multi-seasonal viewpoint of the wide variety of landscapes found throughout the park. Photographers Rudraksha Chodankar and David Rowan present their distinctive impressions of what visitors so often take for granted as they pass through the park.

Members of the community are invited to attend the opening of the photography exhibit on Wednesday, October 24th, 2018, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the Nature Center’s recently opened North Woods Pavilion. The exhibit remain open for public viewing from October 24th through November 27th from 9:00AM-4:00PM.

On Saturday, October 27th, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, David Rowan will be conducting a photography workshop. This event is free; however, space is extremely limited and pre-registration is required by Monday, October 22nd. Visit www. Dunwoodynature.org to register.
