Additional Paving Work on Mt. Vernon Road to begin Tuesday

Contractors for the City of Dunwoody will conduct additional paving and resurfacing of Mt. Vernon Road between Ashford Dunwoody Road and the City’s border with Sandy Springs on Tuesday, April 9. 

The need for repair of the pavement on the western section of Mt. Vernon Road was determined following quality testing and analysis work performed by the City.  The testing showed partial asphalt deficiencies on select areas of the road.

The City anticipates the road work taking place over a 1 to 2-day period and work will be performed by the contractor at no cost to the City.
