My family attended the Light Up Dunwoody event on Sunday evening. We loved seeing friends of all ages. The kids with their faces painted wearing balloon hats were adorable. Lines were long for face painting and Santa but the kids didn’t seem to mind. Most of them were chugging hot chocolate and having a grand ole time! I was honored to have been asked to do the actual lighting of the tree by Nina Arnold (this year’s Light Up Dunwoody Chair) . With the help of the huge candy cane switch the Christmas tree and Menorah were lit simultaneously as Bing Crosby belted out “May your days be merry and bright”. Be sure to put this event on your calendar for next year!
